David Tucker on WNYC Tomorrow!

Zune Thoughts' very own David Tucker will be on radio station WNYC tomorrow to talk about the merits of Zune, its features, and its functionality. David will be on the station's "Soundcheck" program, debating with someone from the iPod side of the aisle. The program airs from 2-3 pm tomorrow and the segment will run 20 to 25 minutes in the first part of the hour. Even if you happen to be outside of New York tomorrow, you can visit the WNYC site to stream the feed live, and the archive of the show should be up after the show airs. Whatever side of the iPod/Zune debate you're on, this should be fun to hear!

Real Media? Are you kidding? "Sorry Dave, I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen."

Guess I will not get to hear it. :(

Thanks doog,

Good job Dave, though I must say that you failed to win me over. I read doog's post on my iPhone, downloaded the podcast directly, and listened to it while checking mail and playing a game. I don't know much about Zunes, but I'm pretty sure you can't do that.

I'm pretty sure that you can't drive the iPhone down the street like you can in my Camaro, what's your point? :?

You're right, Apple products vs MS products is an unfair comparison. :D

What I did could just as easily have been done on a touch instead of an iPhone. My point is, you failed to win me over in your debate, IMO the iPod is a better product.

On a semi-related note, I'm not a huge fan of subscription services either. We ditched our XM service when we discovered most of the programs we listened to were available as podcasts.
